What would we do if we were the Beautiful and the Rich? Would we go to a charity event for Greenpeace, spending an incredible amount money for tickets, of which most then goes into the fee for the location, food, and drinks, as well as grandeur entertainment…? Maybe… if we could still figure out a good cause, such as creating awareness. And though I truly believe that there would be more effective, more sincere and less vain ways of creating awareness about what we all can do to save the planet – such was the scene set for the second and final challenge of the LUXEParis contest.
I was for sure not there yet, maybe even far from it. But I joined this contest to gain experience, to learn from others, and so I did. There were some amazing stylists amongst the contestants. Jude, Royalsun, just to name the ones that impressed me most of all. Congrats for being so extraodinary talented.
One thing however I learned in this contest is that I am far, far from seeing what others see. The audience, the judges. That what impressed me wasn’t necessarily what impressed the judges and that what the judges got impressed by was not something I would have noticed in the first place.
But then… was it a contest about styling? Come to think of it LUXEParis owners made it quite clear that they look for a lady who can be their ambassador, with beauty on the inside and on the outside, but also someone whom they can help to gain confidence, help to grow, whom they can make to be someone in this fashion world of SL.
In that sense, I truly believe they choose the right person and I can give Valsnia a heartfelt congratulations.
