We hope you have enjoyed the days after the successful first runway challenge and that you had some break and rest. For your second runway challenge we return to the much loved “La Dulce Vida” challenge that is actually one of the established traditions in the MISS SL competitions.
The “La Dulce Vida” challenge initially was proposed by MISS SL ♛ 2016, Ivyana Szondi, who was inspired by the extraordinary Fall/Winter 2017 collection of the renowned Spanish designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada.
Lynn Quanjel from the Fashion Insider Magazine posts:
“The collection starts with candy inspired outfits: dresses with candy cane prints, hot pink fluffy dresses with candies applied on them and colorful macaroon skirts. […] If that isn’t enough yet to excite you, Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada steps it up a notch with sculptural outfits shaped as cupcakes, donuts, pies, gift boxes and macaroon towers. Obviously not wearable (unless you are going to a theme party, perhaps) but super fun nevertheless. […]”
Based on Ruiz de la Prada’s idea we ask you to present to us a popular candy, dessert, pastry, cake or other sweet or hearty delicious trait.
